Isaac turned 1 on Tuesday. Life's been pretty crazy, so Michael came home at lunch to celebrate his birthday with Eric and I. It was the sorriest cake I've ever seen(long story). It even tops the hot strawberry lemon one Michael made me with two cans of frosting when we were dating. But it was fun, and Isaac loved it. He also took his first steps that day. The first time he tried he didn't got a couple steps, but a good 3 feet and then instead of falling, he squatted down to pick up a toy and then stood back up to go some more. Now 4 days later he's barely crawling at all. He's also been able to tolerate Rice and Goat's Milk, but doesn't like the Goat's at all. He spits it right out. It's kind of funny, actually. His most common words are not words, but growling. There's nothing better in the world than that to him. Yesterday he woke up doing it, and also alot through meal time. He also says night night and yeah, to go along with the regular baby babble. He's a pretty loud baby. I love it!
