A couple weeks ago we went camping and had a great time. Everything Eric knew about camping was from his Curious George book, so he was a little disappointed in the lack of forest animals to be found, and the smoke or dirt in his eyes, but we solved that with sunglasses.
Isaac loved the dirt, but didn't sleep so well in the tent. We discovered that when a baby cries at night in an LDS campground, pretty soon 3 or 4 others are as well. Kind of like dogs howling.
They had canoes you could rent for free, so Michael and my Dad took us for a trip around the lake. It was fun.
